Visitors were welcome to visit us at any time, especially during the open hour from 5-6pm



Monday 14th August:

10 - 11.15

Daily Company Class, (advanced level contemporary dance)
open to guests, but places limited. Venue: Bowett Room
11.30 - 13.30

rehearsal/meeting time with specialists. Special Guest:
Dick McCaw Theatre Director and Artistic Director of
The International Workshop Festival

13.30 - 14.30 Lunch break
14.30- 17.00 rehearsal/meeting time with specialists.Special Guest:
Dick McCaw, (continued)
17.00-18.00 Open hour. (daily) Visitors during the hour may have the
opportunity to both watch and be directly involved in discussion
with the artists and special guests about the work in progress.
18.00 Finish

Tuesday 15th August:
10 - 11.15 Daily Company Class, (advanced level contemporary dance)
open to guests,but places limited. Venue: Bowett Room
11.30 - 13.30 rehearsal/meeting time with specialists. Special Guest:
Dr Phil Barnard, cognitive scientist.
13.30 - 14.30 Lunch break
14.30- 17.00 rehearsal/meeting time with specialists

17.00-18.00 Open hour. (daily) Visitors during the hour may have the
opportunity to both watch and be directly involved in discussion
with the artists and special guests about the work in progress.

Wednesday 16th August:
10 - 11.15 Daily Company Class, (advanced level contemporary dance)
open to guests,but places limited. Venue: Bowett Room
11.30 - 13.30 rehearsal/meeting time with specialists Special Guest:
Dr Alessandra Iyer, archaeologist/historian with special interest
in S.E.Asia
13.30 - 14.30 Lunch break

Thursday 17th August:
10 - 11.15 Daily Company Class, (advanced level contemporary dance)
open to guests,but places limited. Venue: Bowett Room
11.30 - 13.30 rehearsal/meeting time with specialists.
13.30 - 14.30 Lunch break
14.30- 17.00 An open level creative workshop. For all levels, but will be
designed to accommodate those with little or no regular
participatory experience of music and/or dance.
Venue: The Bowett Room, plus site specific locations wihin
the college.

17.00-18.00 Open hour. (daily) Visitors during the hour may have the
opportunity to both watch and be directly involved in discussion
with the artists and special guests about the work in progress.

Special events:

Thursday 17th August : 2-5pm Open Creative Workshop. (Music and Dance) Meeting point: The Bowett Room, Queens' College. May take place in different sites around the College.Suitable for all levels of experience.

Saturday 19th August: Informal Showing: 5pm. Meeting point: The Bowett Room. May take place in different sites around the College.
