Artyfartyarts is a London-Berlin based arts group formed in 1997 by choreographer Kenneth Tharp and composer Simon Redfern.
Tharp and Redfern met as members of the South Bank Centre's Gamelan New Music group and have collaborated on numerous projects since, beginning in 1991 with 'Office' for London Contemporary Dance Theatre and continuing with the '2 Particles' show in 1997 at the Clink Wharf Gallery and 'Jam Karet' at the Place Choreodrome.

In February 2000 they premiered two dance pieces, 'Strange Charm' and 'Double Fault' for Resolution! at London's Place Theatre.

Artyfartyarts is commited to producing imaginative and exciting collaborative work amongst a diverse range of artists as well as non-artists and the community at large. Their Year of the Artist residencies in Cambridgeshire in the summer of 2000 involved members of the acedemic and public communities in two projects: 'In Our Own Time' at Wysing Arts and 'Meetings by the River' at Queens College Cambridge.
